Northern Utah

This single family residence is located on the North side of a lush hollow. The house addresses the complexities of private v.s. public both inside and out. With a simple linear floor plan, public and private are separated by shared programmatic elements. On the exterior the public side of the house is shielded by massing elements of exposed architectural concrete, brick and stucco, while the private side of the house is open to the hollow below with floor to ceiling glazing.
