The concept for this 10,000 s.f. residence is a simple linear abstraction of the site. The layout of the home reinforces the couple’s desire for privacy and for mechanical zoning control. Its colors derive from the colors of the landscape and its extremely simple and rigorous interior organization is based upon a clearly visible orthogonal framework that organizes several typical elements of domestic space with flexibility.
