Wadsworth Bros. Master Plan
Draper, Utah
Draper Tower Addition is basically a folly in the garden. The owner of a construction company has his company headquarters located up on a bluff over looking Draper and the distant views are of the end of the Salt Lake Valley. The view of the Ochre mountains are to the west. His wish was to have a gathering space for his employees for the end of the week that would provide a lookout point in which to view these beautiful areas and activities of the town as well as to see the sunset and “wine” down. The interiors continue some of the features already present in their existing offices. The exterior structures are simple and straightforward. Draper was known for its vertical silos and farm structures. This becomes a new vertical structure for the City of Draper, Utah.
