Remodeling and addition to a 1936 house in the Avenues in Salt Lake City, Pollard architect concentrated on the detailing on the specific areas of the residence to make ready the way of the addition. Spatial concepts were set up similar to a chess game in which the next move would be made for the next four to five moves. The kitchen cabinets were Birdseye maple with clear maple handles and floors throughout were oak.
