Upstate New York

This new residence and pool house are located in upstate New York along the Hudson River. We took as a departure point some historical residences and looked to a new modern approach. The two buildings are very simple and direct. The main house is linear and Incorporates a sleeping tower for distance views up the river. The length of the house is bordered on the west with a deck for sitting and entertaining. The pool is up the hill and towards the south east. The pool house serves the pool as well as a guest residence.
