Pollard Architects took an existing 1950’s house and created an addition and new envelope to the residence.The clients were an expanding family and required more bedroom and family room space . The location and distant views created a need to change the roof structure and profile of the existing house. The square footage was doubled to 3,400 sq. ft. The materials chosen were wood, stone, glass and metal roofing. The house holds a incredible view of Mt. Olympus in Salt Lake City in an area called Olympus Cove.
